If ever compensated for an article, it will be mentioned here.

This week had some great news and some terrible news. As we mentioned in Wednesday’s article, we informed readers of the tragedy that happened with the miners at Implats in South Africa. However, one thing we did not mention was the passing of Charlie Munger (January 1, 1924 - November 28, 2023).

Now, Wingman is more for providing updates in the mining & exploration sector. However, anyone investing or speculating knows of Munger, and our condolences go to his family and loved ones.

He provided countless sage advice, and although we wanted to mention the legend's passing, we won’t be dedicating the whole article to Munger.

Of all the great advice and insight provided, we believe that this would be the most relevant. It is important for degenerative speculators in the mining & exploration sector.

“Avoiding stupidity is easier than seeking brilliance”

- Charlie Munger

Again in the Wednesday article, ‘Turbulent Terrain’, we mentioned First Quantum’s operations in Panama. On Friday, First Quantum commented further on developments in Panama.

On a brighter note, we witnessed gold on an absolute tear this week. Although Friday didn't bring much news, Brixton Metals did announce some noteworthy long intercept drill results.

Now, we teased earlier this week about adding a new company to Wingman’s portfolio. In our article ‘2 Make or Break Drill Stories,’ we delved into the potential of Juggernaut Exploration and Northern Shield Resources.

As a reminder, our subscribers gain exclusive access to our portfolio, which we review every weekend. Explore Wingman’s buying and selling decisions, and understand the rationale behind them – think of it as an investment journal for Wingman. However, please note that this should never be construed as investment advice; Wingman is simply a drone, and his owner manages other portfolios that are deemed much safer and are not part of Wingman’s holdings. Based on the entry date you can see it matches the inception of this newsletter and at most will have C$10,000 capital invested (speculated).
