We are taking a punt on Salazar Resources. This nanocap company is well-positioned to benefit from the rerate on the Lassonde Curve as a project advances towards construction.

They have a 25% stake in the El Domo, Curipamba project, which is rapidly mitigating many of the risks associated with project development and production.

This news created quite a bit of chatter, as an Argentinian explorer released a drilling update.

Diamond drillhole PIU-01 (refer figure 1), designed to extend Cu-Au mineralization to depth on the southwestern margin of the Piuquenes Central porphyry, intersected a 160m thick zone of supergene copper enrichment between 220m to 380m downhole, coincident and overlapping with primary mineralization from 350 meters. PIU-01 has been plotted to approximately 900 meters downhole depth, with primary mineralization continuing from 350m to the current hole depth of approximately 600m.

Now, unless I missed it, this company just announced that they hit a supergene zone, and the market reacted with excitement as it closed at C$0.21 ⬆️ 0.07 (50%). The market cap is small at ~C$12.6M.

I guess, based on past results, people are speculating about what the future results could be.

Now, we were a little annoyed but not surprised that the market reaction to Lavras Gold was rather lackluster. Some sold due to the results released today from Butiá resulting in a close of C$1.02 ⬇️ 0.10 (8.9%).

They released results from 9 drill holes, with only two showing intersections of more than 100 meters of mineralization. Notably, Hole 16 stood out, with mineralization right from the surface.

Hole 12, the next best hole, started at a depth of 136 meters. So, while not yielding amazing results, consider where they were drilling relative to the resource category. Hole 16, on the other hand, speared and hit right where it should.

Besides, we are here for the Fazenda De Posta drill results, and those were not mentioned in this press release. We remain bullish.

A bit mundane, yet a highly significant milestone for Banyan Gold.

We're feeling tired after a long day and losing energy quickly, but this news is excellent and necessary to derisk the project. Congratulations to the Banyan team! In our opinion, it's a safe speculation if you're looking to invest in a gold junior.

Never heard of them, but the increase in share price and lack of market reaction caught our eye.
